KENSHU DJ/Producer

1981年、オーストリア、ウィーン生まれ。オーストリア人の父親と日本人の母親を持ち、幼少の頃よりピアノ、バイオリン、フルート、パーカッションなどクラシック音楽をベースに様々な楽器に親しむ。HIP-HOPカルチャーに多大な影響を受け、12歳よりDJをスタート。 帰国後はJazz、Brasil、Soul、Funkなどを通過しつつ様々なクラブでのDJやプロデュースワークで活動。クラシックをKENSHU独自の解釈でHIP-HOPフォーマットに再構築した作品“dulcet featuring KENSHU”（2008）は外資系レコード店を中心にヒット。 アルバム“THE UNITED COLOR”（2008）をリリース後はElectroへ活動の中心をシフト。自らが多大なる影響を受けたHIP-HOPカルチャーへの回答として“B-BOY HOUSE”を提唱。 ageHa、AIR、MADO LOUNGEなどの都内有名クラブや国内外のクラブやラジオでプレイ。 圧倒的なDJスキルと様々なジャンルを通過してきた音楽的センス溢れる プロデュースワークは人気ファッションブランド“mastermind JAPAN”とコラボレーションするなど多方面から高い注目を集めている。

Year 1981,Born in Wien Australia. His Australian father and Japanese Mother,let him played some instruments such as piano, violin, flutes and percussion when he was a small kid.By a greatly influenced of HIP-HOP culture, he started the DJ life when he was 12. After returned to Japan,he played Jazz, Brasil, Soul, and Funk etc. at various clubs in Tokyo as a DJ & A classic in its own interpretation KENSHU works arranged HIP-HOP "dulcet featuring KENSHU" (2008) hit record stores around the foreign. Now he shifted to Electro for his main activity.The significant influence answers to their culture HIP-HOP B-BOY full of feeling"B-BOY HOUSE" advocated ageHa, Air, MADO LOUGE international club and radio play in Tokyo clubs and others.
